What have I done?

Blink! Blink!... February is almost over.
What have I done so far? Hmmm...nothing I could be proud of yet, I think.

Then I have to do something abt it right? I just can't be sitting here and hope that things will fall into places...(eventhough half the times I hope they will )

Ok.. am going off to start something now!

Morning Blues

I feel like baking again today... out of sudden and very unusual.
Thus, at 7:30 a.m I was done with the cooking and baking...but of course the cake is still in the oven right now.

Started to take a look at the claims and decided to stop. My mood is not ready for that...
Wish my son has woke up... then it would be fun to spend these hours with him before work...but I bet he will not be up till 11:00 a.m. He "worked" extra hard early this morning to keep me awake.

I guess... I could always pick the books again. Nice way to "calm "down my day before it gets crazy again later at work.

Damn exhausted!

I hardly remember how was my daughter's 2nd birthday.
All I could recall was about her HFM on that day.
Rushed to the hospital right after she blew 2 big candles on her birthday cake
And I turned to zombie for 3 nites in a row!
What a fun!..I almost died in exhaustion

Yesterday it's my dear son's 2nd birthday.
I know.. it's V day too..but I don't do V day..
Of course I celebrated the birthday...
Ice cream fondue was my treat for him...
And again today we had fun at the pool
Splashed here and there
Now I'm exhausted like hell

Slacking again... didn't I?
Thanks to my crazy working hrs lately
Erkk! did it sound like a lame excuse?
No! Of course not
I'm exhausted to death
I think I need my baking therapy

Chocolate cake? Marble cake?
Which should I bake today?
Or perhaps I could do a simple butter cake?
Or just lay back and read the books?
Or do both?
Oh dear... this is mentally exhaustive too!

TGIF!

It has been a very extremely tiring week at work. 3 out of 4 days, I had to start at 9 a.m., which I have not done in many years. Always start my day at work around noon.

By COB today, I felt like I have no brain power left for anything else. This whole week, I had to focus on a few things which I think I could handle well except for 1. I almost killed myself yesterday dealing with this one terrible miserable horrible issue! I guess, my team mates would definitely know what am referring to.

I'm so thankful that it's almost weekend and it will be a long one. I need all the rest to get well and recharged again for next Tuesday.

Tommorow is my marketing day but hubby has to be at work in the morning. Most likely I will end up going to the market by myself.

Expecting some guests for tea, needs to think what will the menu be. Thinking of... hmm apple puff? Yeap.. apple puff it is then!

Looks like no tennis and no outing for tomorrow. Sunday maybe...

Not So Sunny Sunday

Made another attempt to bake moist choco cake. Not that bad...kids love it esp daughter.
Thought I could go for tennis before breakfast but was still in bed until half past nine! Actifed always works on me.

And again decided to go for tennis after Asar, but the moment we reached Shah Alam, it was drizzling again... At that point I turned to my hubby and gave him the 'I-Told-You-So' look.

And then we took a detour to Bukit Raja...and all the way up to Seksyen 7. There are some new and nice houses there...and of course I thought we were doing house hunting then. However, the moment we turned into the Worldwide@7 area, hubby asked if there's any gobbler operating infront of the 7E. Hah!!!?? We went all the way to Seksyen 7 just to find a gobbler??? Well, that's my dear hubby. You never know what he's up to sometimes...

It's quite a productive Sunday afterall. What's up for tomorrow? Yet to figure out... Hubby will be working. Maybe take the kids out? Hmm.. may be.
