Most Expensive Meal

Tuesday, we still have a bit of the jetlag hangover. But it was not that bad anymore. We love the breakfast provided by the hotel, simple but nice. Love the French bread…hmm..yummy. We didn’t have breakfast with the hunk as he’s having the breakfast with his girlfriend in the suite. It’s his girlfriend’s birthday….Ouchh!

For lunch, we went out with a local colleague to a Japanese again. But this time it’s cheaper and better. Again, we had a few round of chicken and duck talk. We just noticed that, we always had “adventurous” meal each time, especially when we tried to place the order. Dinner was at this Rialto Restaurante. It was recommended by the hunk. I do not know how to describe the place. It was ok but yet I don’t really like it. The staffs were ‘too friendly’ and pushy. Instead of we ordered the dinner, they placed the order for us. Or at least that how it looked to me.

When the dinner came, we had a shock of our life! It was a really huge platter of sea foods; prawns, lobsters, squid, one whole fish and octopus. It’s really too much for 3 persons. I would say we need at least 6 persons to finish that up. We were quite upset as we are not being informed about the size of the platter. It’s definitely a waste. To add to our disappointment, the whole platter was salty like they being cooked in salt!

The moment we set our eyes on the platter, the first thing that stroked my mind was it must be damn expensive…. And true enough that was the most expensive meal I ever took in my whole 30 years…. It’s equivalent to RM700 ++!!!. I got no choice but to use my card. We were freaking upset as the food didn’t deserve the price. We swore that we would no go back to that place ever again in our life.. ( Hahaha… as if we would come here again huh!)
